About Our Client

We are partnered with a premier international project advisory firm recognised for its technical expertise, commercial intelligence, and influential role across global mission-critical sectors. With a strong and growing presence throughout Europe, the organisation is trusted by major developers and operators to deliver high-value advisory services on complex capital programmes.

Their specialist teams support clients on large-scale data-driven facilities, high-tech environments, and technically advanced building projects across multiple continents. From concept through completion, they provide rigorous commercial, cost, and risk advisory solutions for some of the most sophisticated M&E and building services packages in the market.

As an employer of choice, the firm offers a high-performing environment where senior advisors gain visibility at leadership level, access to international project exposure, and the opportunity to shape commercial strategies for blue-chip global clients.

What They Are Looking For

The firm is seeking an experienced and ambitious M&E Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding specialist team in Dublin. This appointment sits within a high-profile client advisory function, supporting major data centre programmes across the EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions.

The role has been created to strengthen the company’s growing data centre advisory capability and to meet increased demand from multinational clients investing heavily in mission-critical infrastructure. The successful candidate will provide high-level commercial insights, shape procurement strategies, and act as a trusted consultant to owners, developers, and operators.

Those who excel in client-facing environments, enjoy complex technical problem-solving, and are motivated by international exposure will thrive in this advisory position.

Why This Role Is Unique

This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic, client-side advisory role within one of the most dynamic and fast-growing global sectors. Working from Dublin, you will influence commercial outcomes on some of the world’s most advanced data centre programmes while gaining exposure to international commercial frameworks, M&E cost intelligence, and leading-edge delivery models.

It offers a clear pathway to senior consulting roles, high levels of autonomy, and the chance to work closely with senior global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide client-side commercial advisory services for global data centre programmes, focusing on M&E systems and mission-critical infrastructure.

  • Lead the development of detailed cost plans, CapEx models, and benchmarking data for large-scale M&E packages.

  • Shape and advise on procurement strategies, review tender documentation, analyse contractor proposals, and support high-value negotiations.

  • Support post-contract administration including change control, payment assessments, contract reviews, and final account close-out.

  • Identify and evaluate commercial, contractual, and technical risks associated with M&E scope across multiple global jurisdictions.

  • Prepare accurate commercial reports and governance documentation for senior client stakeholders.

Criteria for the Role

  • Demonstrable experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment or a main contractor M&E division.

  • Significant background in the data centre sector, with hands-on experience managing large M&E or building services packages.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, with exposure to international forms such as FIDIC considered an advantage.

  • Proven commercial advisory capability, with strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics; working towards or holding SCSI/MRICS chartership is highly desirable.

What’s On Offer

A competitive salary of up to €90,000, reflecting your technical expertise within the data centre and M&E environment.
The chance to work on global programmes for a leading advisory firm operating at the forefront of the mission-critical sector.
A strategic, Dublin-based role offering unmatched exposure to international best practices across multiple regions.
