About the Role
About Our Client
We are partnered with a market-leading M&E contractor recognised for delivering complex mechanical and multidisciplinary engineering solutions across Ireland and Europe. The organisation has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, innovation, and the successful delivery of large-scale mission-critical projects for blue-chip clients.
Their portfolio spans high-value data centre developments, advanced pharmaceutical facilities, and major commercial buildings—projects that demand robust engineering capability, strong commercial discipline, and the ability to collaborate closely with sophisticated client teams. With a strong forward pipeline and continued investment in their preconstruction function, the business remains a destination for senior leaders seeking influence and long-term progression.
As an employer of choice, the firm offers a structured leadership environment, access to technically advanced projects, and the opportunity to shape work-winning strategy at a senior organisational level.
What They Are Looking For
The organisation is seeking a highly strategic and experienced PreConstruction & Bid Manager to oversee the planning, development, and submission of winning mechanical and multidisciplinary tenders. This senior role operates at the centre of the organisation’s growth strategy and requires close collaboration with engineering, estimating, planning, and executive leadership.
The appointment exists to strengthen technical and commercial bid strategy across a growing portfolio of high-value, highly technical tenders. The successful candidate will take ownership of the end-to-end bid lifecycle, shaping value propositions, critiquing technical solutions, and ensuring submissions are competitive, compliant, and commercially aligned.
A confident, strategic thinker with strong mechanical understanding and the ability to influence multidisciplinary stakeholders will thrive in this environment. This is a role for a proven work-winner who can combine technical insight with compelling communication and commercial leadership.

The role offers visibility to board-level leadership, a clear pathway to senior preconstruction or commercial appointments, and the chance to establish best-practice bid processes in a high-performing environment.
